So what is ‘The Channel and Open Water Swim Training Boot Camp’ all about?

It takes place usually the first or second week in July each year. YOU get  three full days of swimming and activities as well as very comfortable self-contained accommodation and food - full cooked breakfast and 3 course evening meal included). Lunch is available at extra costs although you can bring your own. Arrival tends to be on a Thursday night and departure on a Monday morning, although this may vary (ie. Tuesday to Saturday). The result of this is that you get three full days of swim training. There are also options should you just wish to attend for a day or even a half day. Please ask on enquiry for prices. ‘Day Trippers’ can either bring your own lunch or this can be provided at a reasonable cost on the island. There is a deadline of the 30th May for names of ‘Day Trippers.

Our swim location is unique as no one else offers this fascinating venue. We began camps here in July 2013 and turning the idea together into reality. This Open Water swim camp takes place on the Island of Inchmurrin on Loch Lomond itself and is such an idyllic setting for the training. You get to stay on Inchmurrin and have FUN whilst you train hard, swimming in a safe environment. As well as plenty of swim training (!) you will hear guest speakers, special sessions on relevant topics and receive personal training sessions and more.  You will also have the chance to do your six hour (solo swimmers) or two hour qualifying swim (relay swimmers) for the Channel. It will also be an opportunity for you to get to know other like-minded swimmers and most importantly to have a fabulous time.

If you are interested, then please contact me now for more details and further information. Places are limited and on a first come, first served basis. Please also consult the T & C on this website

Due to the success of the previous year's camps we are planning to run an extra one so keep watching this space for more details.
