Course comprise only small groups ensuring the best for you, the swimmer. Advice is offered in many aspects of Open Water Swimming such as on wetsuit or non wet-suited swims and navigation. In fact YOU are provided with these and many more skills that are needed to get you going and to be successful in Open Water. You receive only the BEST.
Groups are small and sessions can also be on a one to one basis. These are mainly run in the beautiful location of Windermere, in theLake District. You will need to bring your own wetsuit (if wearing one), and all other essentials such as food, swimming equipment and of course plenty of enthusiasm.
Everyone starts out from somewhere and Dr. Julie Bradshaw is no exception, remembering her first swim outdoors, doing breaststroke and having that confidence that there were people to support her in that journey. It was only two years after she had completed her first open water swim across Lake Windermere that Julie achieved her solo swim of the English Channel in British Junior Record time of 10 hours and 9 minutes in 1979.
